The CleanWays Committee thanks all of the participants of this year’s “Pick It Up, Pocopson” clean up and all of our township residents who pick up litter on a regular basis, whether on a walk through their neighborhood or on a visit to the park – thank you for helping to preserve the beauty of our scenic community!

To keep the Litter Control Effort ongoing throughout the year, the township is recruiting businesses, community groups and residents to adopt roads within the township.  If you are interested in adopting a road through PennDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway Program, there are several state roads still available for adoption:  Pocopson Road, Rt. 926 from Brandywine Creek Bridge to Brinton’s Bridge Road, and Lenape-Unionville Road.   Additionally, we are offering a Township Adopt-A-Road Program for the township roads.  Call the office at 610-793-2151 for adoption opportunities or to obtain supplies for your own litter cleanup.
