Budget Work Session Meeting Minutes

4:00 P.m., November 17, 2009

In attendance: Supervisors – Stephen R. Conary, Georgia F. Brutscher, Lauressa J. McNemar, P.E.; Treasurer – Margaret Lennon; Public Works Director – Don Lane.

The Public Work Session of the Pocopson Township Board of Supervisors was called to order by Chairman Conary at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. In accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act, adequate meeting notice was provided as follows: (1) advertised in the Daily Local News on November 13, 2009; and posted on the Township Bulletin Board on November 16, 2009.

Public Comment: none.

Conary reviewed 2010 Fund Balances and proposed components for the following budget items: (1) General and Payroll; (2) Route 52 Intersections; (3)Historic Schoolhouse; (4) Barnard House Renovation; (5) Parks, Recreation and Trails; (6) Open Space Tax; (7) Open Space Loan; (8) Highway Aid; (9) Major Equipment; (10) Riverside Stormwater System Maintenance.

Board members agreed to include for discussion during the next regularly scheduled Board meeting on November 23^rd, the adoption of the 2010 budget as a preliminary budget and to authorize legal advertising to act on the 2010 budget during the December 14^th regularly scheduled Board meeting.

Adjournment: At 6:20 p.m., Conary moved to adjourn the meeting; McNemar seconded.
