7:30 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2006
Sellers opened the meeting at 7:40 p.m. with the
pledge of allegiance. Supervisor Hubbard was in attendance along with
Steve Conary and Gary Summers, PC Members.
Absent was Supervisor Brutscher.
Announcements: Steve Conary PC announced that the open space
referendum was passed last Tuesday. Sellers said the Board is excited
about the passing of the referendum.
The secretary reported that the new windows had been installed in the
township building, and the work was satisfactory.
Minor Subdivisions:
Kevin Kelly Subdivision:
Andy Murphy, resident, had several questions about the minor subdivision
plan for the Kelly property that directly abuts him. Murphy asked about
the paving of the proposed road that will connect the two lots to Wayne
Drive. There are already six or seven houses along this unapproved road.
There was some discussion about Mr. Kelly filing a quite claim deed to
claim a portion of Murphy’s land to connect Wayne Drive to the lots being
created by this subdivision. Sellers said the existing driveway that
accesses Route 52 can be used for the existing house only. Any other lots
will have to be accessed from Wayne Drive, and Wayne Drive will have to be
brought up to township specifications. Sellers invited Mr. Murphy to
attend the next Planning Commission Meeting to voice his concerns.
Motion: Sellers moved, Hubbard seconded to grant the Kevin
Kelly subdivision review an extension until November 13, 2006. Motion
carried.
