Board of Supervisors’ Meeting

Friday, September 5, 2003

Unruh called the meeting to order at 7:35 a.m. to determine the decision of the Toll Brothers PRD Hearings.  Attending were Supervisors Sellers, Brutscher, and Hubbard. 

Unruh discussed the application and stated that it was turned down because it did not meet the township ordinances and referenced the document presented at the meeting.

• Brutcher moved, Sellers seconded to deny the application based upon the document dated September 5, 2003 prepared by Ross Unruh; Unruh, Turner, Burke & Frees.  Motion carried with all in agreement.

Hubbard said there were too many ordinance criteria that were not met such as roadway grades, steep slopes, density, etc.

The Board said they were amenable to meeting with the applicant to discuss how the applicant might provide a plan that would satisfy the board and meet the ordinances. 

Unruh informed the applicant that the township is bound by ordinance to serve this decision by registered mail as he presented the executed document to the applicant.  Christopher Schubert accepted the decision, and stated it was not necessary to send the document by registered mail.

Adjournment:  Sellers adjourned the meeting at 7:47 a.m.
