| Board of Supervisors' Meeting Minutes 8:45 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2006 |

Brutscher opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance at 8:50 a.m. Supervisors Sellers and Hubbard were in attendance. Steve Conary, Planning Commission member, was also in attendance. The Board met yesterday morning, Sunday, December 10th to discuss an erosion problem at the end of the circle on Nathan Hale Drive in Red Bridge Farms. Motion: Brutscher moved, Hubbard seconded to close the regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. Motion carried. Motion: Hubbard moved, Sellers seconded to open the ordinance hearing to consider adoption of the Open Space Tax Ordinance. Motion carried. Sellers noted the ordinance was advertised in “The
Daily Local News” on November 20 and 27, 2006. Motion: Hubbard moved, Brutscher seconded to reopen the regular meeting at 9:02 a.m. Motion carried. Larkin Baily Road – Closing: The Board agreed the township will continue to own the property located at the entrance to the gate located on Larkin Baily Road. The secretary will contact the township attorney and ask him to prepare 5 agreements that will be signed by the surrounding property owners. Public Comment: Bruce Yelton, expressed concern that the water main installed on Route 52 was not properly repaved and the trees in the vicinity of Red Bridge Farms might have been damaged during the installation. Route 52 Roundabout: Sellers said John Fenn had prepared a letter dated December 11, 2006 to Francis J. Hanney, Traffic Services Manager, Penn DOT; referencing grant money for the township’s proposed Roundabout located at Route 52 and Wawaset Roads. Brutscher said she had sent back her comments to include the fact that Route 52 is now a scenic byway, and the roundabout would enhance the aesthetic value of the scenic byway. John Fenn that the Scenic Byway could be a helpful factor in applying for the grant. Sellers noted that if PennDOT plays an active role in the permitting and design, it would help control the costs of the project. Budget 2007: The 2007 budget was discussed
and some changes were noted. Yelton had several comments about the
budget, and the Board discussed them and agreed some minor changes needed
to be made. Olmsted – Escrow Release: Hubbard said the township has withheld $5,000 from Berman Homes inc. escrow release #15 until all survey issues have been resolved. Sewage Facilities Planning Module – 1880 Lenape-Unionville Road: The secretary presented the Sewage Facilities Planning Modules for the Deanna L. Kretzschmar project, a proposed accessory dwelling located on a 4 acre lot located at 1880 Lenape-Unionville Road (tax parcel # 63-3-0128) in Pocopson Township. The Board reviewed the proposed planning module and determined that more information was needed before the planning module could be signed. Minutes of October 23, 2006: Hubbard moved, Brutscher seconded to approve the minutes of October 23, 2006 as submitted. Motion carried. Minutes of November 27, 2006: Hubbard moved, Sellers seconded to approve the minutes of November 27, 2006 as amended. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Warrants: The warrants were
approved and signed as submitted.
