Pocopson provides only essential services March 14-28

As of Saturday, March 14, 2020, Pocopson Township will be following the lead of Chester County and providing only essential services for a 14 day period. The public will not be permitted to enter Township buildings until further notice.

Employees are working staggered schedules, and e-mails and phone calls will be responded to as promptly as possible. Messages may be left at 610-793-2151 (Administration), 610-793-2387 (Public Works from 7-2:30), or 484-947-9379 (Public Works emergency/after hours).

Per Governor Wolf’s order, inspections (building, zoning, engineering) are discontinued as of Friday, March 20. Individuals with open permit applications will be contacted regarding their applications. Applications and checks can be mailed or left in the dropboxes at the Office (740 Denton Hollow Road, under the bulletin board) or Garage (1440 Lenape Road). All new applicants will be requested to complete a waiver of the statutory and regulatory time frames as part of their applications.
