Chester County Town Tours and Village Walks 25th Anniversary
Radley Run Country Club on August 29th from 4:30 – 7:15 PM

Enjoy a free historic walking tour of Master Fox Hunter Charles E. Mathers’ turn-of-the-century Brandywine Meadow Farm located at the current Country Club property.

Learn how Master of Hounds Charles E. Mathers transformed the old Painter Dairy Farm into a famous hunting box where English hounds were the rage of the era. Visit the 1770 Mansion House where weekend hunting parties were hosted with the rich and famous. Hear stories of the Huntsman and Kennelman’s Houses, and tour the stone Barn (now club house) that was remodeled for his hunting horses where you can view an extensive Mather family photo gallery.

Top off your visit by seeing Radnor Hunt perform live fox hunt demonstrations with horses and hounds every 15 minutes starting at 6:30pm.
