Planning Commission Meeting Minutes
7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2006
Call to Order: Chairman Waddington called the meeting to order at 7:48
p.m.
Members Present: Waddington, Conary, Johnson, Breiseth, Summers
Members Absent: Mims, Rafferty
Natural Resource Protection Ordinance: Waddington asked the PC members if they had any recommended changes to the Natural Resource Protection amendments. The PC members had no changes, and the commission recommended to the Board of Supervisors to prepare the ordinance for advertisement and adoption.
Scaleby Farm Subdivision: Jim Fritsch, Regester Associates, Inc., said he realized they were not on the agenda, but wanted the Commission to know the applicant would be requesting final plan approval at the May PC meeting.
Serum Property / Minor Subdivision: Jim Fritsch, Regester Associates, Inc., was present along with Mr. & Mrs. Serum. Fritsch said there was a site walk on April 5th with three PC members. Fritsch reported that he had spoken with Supervisor Sellers, and Sellers felt this property would fall under Zoning Ordinance Section 250-19E. The PC agreed. Mr. Serum said the Historic Committee had given them positive feedback about the proposed house. The PC did not have any objections to the sketch plan as presented.
KARPC: No report.
WCRPC: No report.
Open Space Referendum: Conary reported that there is an informational public meeting at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22nd for the Open Space Referendum. The Open Space Committee altered the presentation slightly for the Saturday morning meeting. Conary said the referendum information meetings were going along as planned, and the committee was hoping for a positive outcome from the election.
Minutes of March 15, 2006: Johnson moved, Breiseth seconded to accept the minutes of March 15, 2006 as amended. Motion carried with all in agreement.
Adjournment: Waddington adjourned the meeting at 8:40 p.m.
