Until further notice and unless otherwise advertised, the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, and Committees of Pocopson Township will be returning to in-person meetings at the Pocopson Township Building located at 740 Denton Hollow Road, West Chester, PA 19382 effective immediately for all previously advertised 2021 public meetings. All attendees are required to wear a face mask at the meetings. Please call the Township Secretary 610-793-2151 if you do not have a face mask. Please visit www.pocopson.org as meeting details are subject to change or cancellation. Contact Township Secretary at 610-793-2151 or email@example.com if auxiliary aids, services, or other reasonable accommodations are required to participate in the meetings.

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, and will be held in the Township Administration Building, 740 Denton Hollow Road, West Chester, 19382. NEW TOWNSHIP ADMINISTRATION BUILDING BID PROCESS
Per the Board of Supervisors, sealed proposals will be received by Pocopson Township for the General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Plumbing Construction (Plumbing & Fire Protection) and Electrical Construction for the Pocopson New Township Administration Building to be located at 650 Wawaset Road in West Chester, PA in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by GKO Architects, 300 Brookside Ave., Ambler, Pennsylvania, 19002 www.gkoarchitects.com
Bid Documents will be available electronically on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM (local time). Bidders must register with the Architect by emailing Susan Feenan at firstname.lastname@example.org and indicating name and address of their company, work discipline, contact name and contact email. Bidders will then be given a web link to access the Bid Documents. Questions regarding the Bid Documents shall be emailed in RFI – Request for Information format to email@example.com.
Bids shall be addressed to ‘Pocopson Township’ and must be received on or before Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM, local time at the current Pocopson Township Administration Building, located at 740 Denton Hollow Road, West Chester, PA 19382.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announces some new resources that share how communities can be more resilient from floods as they happen more frequently. The National Risk Index is easy to use and provides a means to prioritize resilience efforts by providing an at-a-glance overview of multiple natural hazard risk factors. It is accessible to homeowners or renters or anyone interested in mitigation or understanding natural hazards.
