Open Records

Folder

Pennsylvania’s open records law greatly expands public access to a wide array of government records. The law provides that all requests be made in writing. Please click below for the necessary form, which can be mailed, faxed, or dropped off at the Township Building. Another option is to save the form, attach it to an e-mail and send it to openrecords@pocopson.org. Please be advised that the Township has up to five business days to fill requests.

Given the current disaster emergency, the Township is requesting that residents only file the most urgent of requests and work with the Township as to additional extensions of time regarding processing. At this time the Township cannot facilitate any in-person review of records. The Township also will not be accepting in-person submissions; all requests must be sent by mail or email.
